Overview:
Yamaha Electronics entrusted TT Scott & English Energy to enhance its factory’s cooling efficiency with the installation of a 312HP Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system in Ipoh, Malaysia.

Challenge:
The facility required a cooling solution that could deliver consistent performance, reduce energy consumption, and integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure.

Our Solution:

  • Designed and installed a state-of-the-art VRF system featuring advanced DC inverter technology.
  • Implemented fresh air units with UV-C purification kits to ensure clean and healthy air circulation.
  • Optimized electricity usage, achieving a variable running load of just 92 amps at 23°C.

Outcome:
The new system improved overall cooling efficiency by 56%, reduced operational costs, and aligned with Yamaha’s sustainability goals.
